What happens when the one-stop beauty destination, Nykaa.com and leading magazine, Femina collaborate yet again to host the one-of-a-kind beauty awards? The NFBA 2018 that honoured the finest beauty products of 2017 witnessed a starry turnout with some of the celebs acing the fashion and beauty game impeccably. But the ones who failed to impress included Disha Patani, Arjun Kapoor, Zareen Khan and Evelyn Sharma. With a rising awareness to beauty regimens and beauty products, courtesy celebs, beauty bloggers and celebrity makeup artists, the much-awaited Nykaa.com Femina Beauty Awards 2018 happened at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, Mumbai and hosted by the stunning Shibani Dandekar.

The jury members who were assigned the ardent task of choosing the best included CEO of Nykaa.com, Falguni Nayyar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Editor and chief community officer, Tanya Chaitanya, Malaika Arora, Aditi Rao Hydari, celeb makeup artist Ojas Rajani, celebrity hairstylist Hakim Aalim, celebrity cosmetic physician Dr. Jamuna Pai and photographer Dabboo Ratnani.  Here’s a closer look at the celebs who failed to amp up the glamour quotient on the red carpet.

Disha Patani

Styled by Tanya Ghavri, Disha was snapped wearing a sheer one-shouldered gown by Manish Malhotra. With her hair in an updo she topped off the look with smoky eyes and cream ankle-strap sandals sans accessories. Arjun Kapoor

Styled by the stylist duo, Priyanka and Kazim, Arjun donned an electric blue suit from Boss teamed with a white shirt and bow tie from Brook Brothers. Arjun sealed the look with black formal shoes and a well-groomed mane and beard. A bold choice, we applaud Arjun’s effort to go quirky on the red carpet, we believe the colour failed to compliment his sturdy frame. (Also Read: WOW! Zareen Khan

Styled by Trisha Jani, Zareen Khan wore a sequined body fitted gown by House of Eda and topped off the look with peachy pink lips and bold eyes. The makeup fails to compliment the ensemble! (Also Read: Check out: Zareen Khan goes wild for ‘Khallas’ in Veerappan)

Evelyn Sharma

Styled by Sukriti Grover of Style Cell, Evelyn wore a pale pink gown by Archana Rao and earrings from Azotiique by Varun Raheja. While the stunning beauty game of blushed cheeks, defined eyes and pink lips look impeccable, the gown was a downer owing to the illusion neck that stands out a bit.
