Farhan Akhtar surely believes in ‘Excel’-ling in whatever he does (Pun Intended). The talented actor-director has now given it his all and managed to completely look the character of world famous athlete Milkha Singh for Rakeysh Mehra’s biopic Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.
Farhan’s resemblance to the legendary athlete is uncanny and his preparation for the role was not limited to just looking the part. He studied pictures and videos of the world famous athlete to get the body language right. He even met Singh’s trainer Havaldar Gurdev Singh to take notes on how he trained the Flying Sikh.
Farhan has been training religiously since the last year to play this role perfectly and the results are there for all to see. The actor even didn’t miss his gym routine while the unit was shooting in Firozpur, Pujnab.
Must say that Farhan’s dedication has indeed borne fruit and he does look every bit like Milkha Singh- ‘The Flying Sikh’.
