1. Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety

A list on best friendships films of all times would now be incomplete if Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety isn’t a part of it. The bond shared by Sonu (Kartik Aaryan) and Titu (Sunny Singh) was loved by the viewers and they went crazy when Sonu went on a mission to save his pal from the cunning Sweety (Nushrat Bharucha). Apart from the laughs, the film even moved viewers. Not just the film, even the song ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ has gone down in history as the ideal friendship song!

2. Veere Di Wedding

There have been plenty of Hindi films dealing with bromance and Veere Di Wedding was one of those rare flicks that talked about female bonding. The makers and writers did complete justice to this aspect and it was great to see the Veeres speaking about relatable issues, making merry, doing mischief and being there for each other always. That they didn’t opt for male bashing was also appreciated. The performances by all four – Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam K Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania – also added a lot to the film.

3. Sanju

Everyone who saw this film admitted that they wished they had a Kamli in their life. That was the impact created by this wonderfully written character which was flawlessly put to life by Vicky Kaushal. Kamli is the one who can give up his long-lasting desire of buying a car at the nth hour so that he can fly to India to be with his friend. He’ll defend you against all odds and beg to your father to save your life. Although Sanju was essentially a father-son story, the friendship bit played a crucial part. In fact, the climax of the film depicts an emotional union between Kamli and Sanju (Ranbir Kapoor) and it put smiles on the faces of the moviegoers.

4. Sacred Games

This has to be one of the most unique friendship bonds showcased ever! In this acclaimed and popular web series, a lovely companionship develops between Inspector Sartaj Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and constable Katekar (Jitendra Joshi). It is amusing to see how Katekar would sacrifice his time with his family for Sartaj sir, even when the latter gets suspended, much to the annoyance of Katekar’s wife. The popularity of this bond went viral with many memes being circulated within days of its release on Netflix.

5. Dhadak

This might not become as memorable as the other four but it made for a great watch. The pals of the lead Madhukar (Ishaan Khatter), Purshottam (Shridhar Watsar) and Gokul (Ankit Bisht), are quite endearing, especially Purshottam. He brings the house down with his antics, most of which he does for the sake of Madhukar. When Madhukar has to flee with his love Parthvi (Janhvi Kapoor), these two too escape and start life afresh. The reunion of the trio in the second half of the film is damn good.
