Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are all set to reunite for the fourth time on big screen. But, this time, they will be starring in period drama Kalank which is being helmed by Abhishek Varman. The film is a multi-starrer with Madhuri Dixit, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanjay Dutt and Kunal Kemmu. As the cast and crew have been shooting rigorously, they enjoyed the schedule wrap up with a pizza party.
Varun Dhawan has been shooting continuously for action sequences while Alia has been juggling shoots between two films. Varun shared a couple of pictures from the schedule wrap as the crew enjoyed pizzas together. Varun is seen shirtless in the picture and flaunting his abtastic body. Alia has gone makeup-less in the picture while wearing a black dress. One can also see the bandage on her leg as she suffered an injury while shooting Brahmastra.
Varun wrote, “End of a crazy sched team #kalank. This has to be the most hard working team I have ever worked with. Day night these boys and girls have given their life so I can shine bright on screen. @abhivarman just smiling cause he thinks I’m craY and @aliaabhatt with zero sleep and an Injury giving her 100 percent #teamkalank. We coming to u in 2019 get ready. April 19 th. Also I got my #pizza.”
Kalank, which was incepted 15 years ago by Karan Johar and his dad Yash Johar, will release on April 19, 2019.
