The much-in-love couple Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas finally tied the knot in a beautiful Christian service at Umaid Bhavan Palace in Jodhpur on December 1. The couple, who began dating earlier this year, got engaged in July 2018 during her birthday trip to London. Priyanka wore a beautiful Ralph Lauren wedding gown and Nick wore the same designer for the wedding. The wedding was officiated by Nick’s father, Kevin Jonas Sr. The pre-wedding functions began with mehendi ceremony and the pictures were shared by the newlyweds. Not only that, they even enjoyed a game of cricket.
In the latest picture from the mehendi ceremony which has been clicked by Stories by Joseph Radhik, one could see the ladkewale and ladkiwale aka bride and groom’s families and friends come together for a friendly game of cricket. In a short clip, one can see Nick Jonas hitting a six during the match. The bride and groom’s side posed for a group picture as Nick lovingly held his bride Priyanka’s in his arms. One can see Nick’s brothers Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, PeeCee’s brother Siddharth Chopra and cousins Shivang Chopra and Sahaj Chopra along with all of their family members and friends.
A day ago, Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas shared stunning pictures from their mehendi ceremony as Nick and PeeCee looked surreal in heavenly outfits. She captioned it, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each others faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was afternoon that kicked of the celebrations in the way we both dreamed. @nickjonas.”
Parineeti shared a group shot with PeeCee, Sophie Turner, Nick’s mom Denise Jonas amongst others and wrote, “The MEHENDI. The job of us bridesmaids was to make sure the bride was happy & comfortable at all times. But we didn’t have to worry about it – coz Nick promised do it all his life. Welcome to the family Nick jiju! I’m so happy that the Jonas & the Chopra family is now United!”
Ralph Lauren, who designed custom-made outfits for the wedding, took to Twitter to congratulate the bride and groom. “Congratulations to @PriyankaChopra and @NickJonas on the occasion of their wedding. Ralph Lauren is honored to have dressed the couple as well as the members of their wedding party,” he wrote.
On December 2, Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra will get married following the Hindu rituals. This will be followed by Delhi reception on December 4.
