Well, while many of us welcomed the New Year by throwing bashes, attending parties or taking a vacay, some Bollywood buffs were glued to the screens to see their favourite star win an award. The Star Screen Awards 2018, that went on air on the eve of December 31, saw some amazing moments and glamorous performances on stage. The most part of the show hosted by Vicky Kaushal and Ayushmann Khurrana saw the two actors share some witty one liners and imitate a few characters from some of the films that released this year. But when Vicky saw Katrina Kaif come on stage, he pretty much blushed and even ended up proposing her!
Well, as unbelievable as that sounds, Vicky Kaushal indeed proposed Katrina Kaif and that too on stage, on national television, leaving the audiences and the actress too surprised. The actor started the topic by adding, “Aap kisi achhe se Vicky Kaushal ko doondh kar, shaadi kyun nahi kar leti?” [Why don’t you find some good Vicky Kaushal and get married?] He went on to add that since it is the wedding season, he thought he would try and pop this question. But Katrina continued to pretend to be clueless, to which Vicky referred to the popular song [which also features Salman Khan], “Mujhse Shaadi Karogi?” While Katrina blushed initially, she responded to it saying, “Himmat nahi hai.” [I don’t have the courage] But amidst all these fun on stage, it was Salman Khan’s reaction that stood out.
