Tinsel villa is abuzz with the rumours of Swami Nithyananda participating in the new season of Big Boss. This self-styled personality has been a favourite of the gossip-mongers as he shot to notoriety with his the scandal of his sexual relationship with actress Ranjitha, which could not be proved true till date. Also a former sishya of this guru frivolously claimed that he had raped her for the last five years at least 40 times.

When the cases made it to the courts, Swami Nithyananda became the favourite punching bag of rumour mills and media. But there was an uprecedented growth in his popularity and fame during those days. When the spokesman of Godman, Dale Bhagwagar was asked for confirmation whether Swami Nithyananda will be participating in Big Boss this season, he said that the makers have approached Nithyanada but it is too early to confirm the news as a whole.

Now, the agreement of the participants with Big Boss has got a very strong clause of secrecy to be maintained by all the contestants unless the show goes on air. Therefore, in most of the cases we find the participants denying the news of their participation in the contest. The same reason might be behind Bhagwagar’s comment on Nithyanada’s participation in the show – he neither confirmed the news, nor did he deny it!

Swami Nithyananda is also known as Paramahamsa Nithyananda, and he is based in Bangalore. He founded the movement for meditation which is spread all over the world, named Dhyanapeetam. His series on Tamil weekly Kadavai Thira, Kattru Varattum made him very popular. His institute has branches not only spread all over the nation but also in Europe and US. His spiritual healing technique is also very popular. High profile politicians and celebs are his followers like Narendra Modi, B.S Yeddyurappa, Vivek Oberoi, Juhi Chawla and Ranjitha.
