Mumbai: Bollywood’s mega star and the legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan is the one actor who has the biggest fan following in the world. The actor is hugely respected wherever he goes. The crazy fans turn worried whenever the actor lands into any problem or disease. The prayers are done not only in India but also across the globe whenever this star faces bad health problems. This shows how much people love him.
He turned 70 yesterday and the entire film industry and the country wished the star on this mega occasion. A big lavish party was organized for the celebrations. And even at this happy occasion, the Bachchans finally showed their new daughter Aaradhya Bachchan in public. Amiatbh is among those fine and biggest actors of the world who are invited at the big events happened around the globe. We witness him attending the occasions worldwide round the year.
The latest which he was offered to attend as a guest of honor is the 12th edition of River to River Florence Indian Film Festival in Italy which is scheduled to take place between 7th to 13th December 2012. He has been invited for the very first time at this festival where he will be presenting his movies including Sholay, Deewar, Black and a documentary on his life and career.
The director of the festival, Selvaggia Velo tells the media about the festival and Bachchan’s engagements there. The director says that it is an honor to have Bollywood legend there at the film festival.
The event called The River to River Florence Indian Film Festival happens to be the only movie fiesta in Italy which is completely devoted to Hindi cinema. It will be conducted at Cinema Odeon in Italy’s city Florence. There is still no official confirmation from Bachchans but the festival officials confirm his arrival, as per the sources.
