With her latest outing Thappad, Taapsee Pannu has delivered a powerful performance. However, this is not the first time that Taapsee has established herself as a bankable actor who can carry an entire film on her shoulder. Given that films were never in her list of ambitions initially, that is indeed commendable.
In a recent interview, Taapsee revealed that she never dreamed of becoming an actor one day, and was rather interested in academics. Neither did she have an inclination towards films, because her parents did not watch a lot of them. She only started going to movies once she finished schooling, and her ambitions revolved around finishing her engineering followed by an MBA degree and then beginning her career as a marketing professional.
The actor also revealed how she was so bad at pretending, that her parents would always spot when she was lying! She's come a long way to be a convincing actor, really…
Taapsee is also working on Aanand L Rai's production Haseen Dilruba and awaits the release of Rashmi Rocket, co-starring Akshay Kumar.
