Iram Parveen Bilal, the women whose name inspired the maker of Agent Vinod, Sriram Raghavan, , is the first Pakistani short filmmaker whose debut film ‘Josh’ is going to be screened at 14th International Mumbai Film Festival this year, starting from 18th October to 25th October, 2012.

Iram Parveen Bilal’s debut film ‘Josh’ is the first ever feature film from Pakistan that will be screened at one of the region’s most prestigious film festivals, the Mumbai Film Festival 2012. Film ‘Josh’ is a completely fictional story but inspired by the truth of Khaana Ghar. It is based on a committed schoolteacher Fatima who lives in the cosmopolitan high life of Karachi and searches for a dangerous truth in a feudal village.

Pakistan’s acclaimed actress Aamina Sheikh is playing the lead role of Fatima whereas other cast includes Mohib Mirza, and Navin Waqar.
