Among all the Indian states where people infected with Coronavirus have been identified, Maharashtra tops the chart in terms of the number. The Government recently ordered a shutdown of educational institutes and other places such as gyms, swimming pools, as a preventive measure. Amidst this crisis, 11 Coronavirus suspects from a Mumbai hospital ran away. This has irked handful of Bollywood celebrities, including Bipasha Basu and Riteish Deshmukh.

"How can people be so ignorant and irresponsible… we as citizens need to be aware and do everything possible for our govt to help us in this situation … not add to it by being so frustratingly irresponsible. Shocked!!!!," Bipasha wrote on Twitter.

Riteish also tweeted and called it an irresponsible act. "This is so so irresponsible. Let the Government/ Medical Authorities help you. By isolating yourself you can de-risk strangers, your friends, your loved ones & get the right treatment. We all are soldiers, we all have to and we will fight this together," his tweet read.

Earlier, four people from Nagpur had also fled from a Government hospital in the city but the police managed to trace them soon.
