Mumbai: Finally the day arrived and the much-awaited and long talked and gossiped wedding of the Bollywood stars – Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor took place in Mumbai. Yes, the wedding week has started eventually silencing all the rumors and gossips making the big rounds of the media for years. The Sangeet Ceremony of both the stars happened at Kareena Kapoor’s residence in Bandra where the who’s who of Bollywood and fashion industry along with close family members and friends came to attend it.
Saif and Kareena already apologized the Bollywood industry for not inviting them over as they wanted to make their wedding simple. Only the chosen guests were invited over. A few personalities from Bollywood and fashion industry were witnessed at the occasion such as Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, Amrita Arora, Manish Malhotra, Vikram Phandis, Sanjay Kapoor, Tusshar Kapoor and others.
It was a total private affair. Kareena, the centre of attraction of the event, was dressed in a lehnga choli and she was really looking stunning and gorgeous as usual. Saif was clad in a white kurta pyjama. Both were dressed in true traditional costumes.
Soha Ali Khan was continuously with her longtime beau actor Kunal Khmeu. Soha was dressed in a black and blue saree. Kunal was wearing kurta pyjama. Saif’s other sister Saba Ali Khan, who gets her stay away from the limelight, was clad in a traditional white and golden anarkali.
Saif’s daughter from previous wife Amrita Singh, Saira Ali Khan too came wearing traditional outfit. Kareena’s Kapoor’s family members were also sported there. Neetu Singh came in to show that her cold war with Kareena’s mother Babita has come to an end. Karan Johar came wearing black shalwar kameez. Amrita Singh came with hubby Shakeel Ladak. She was pregnant but she made her way to friend’s wedding. Actor Sanjay Kapoor came with wife.
