"It’s very important for us to change our own toxic habits in order to restore our environment"- Hamariwali Good News actor Raghav Tiwari on World Environment Day

Raghav Tiwari shared, "Since it’s World Environment Day, I feel it’s very important for us to change our own toxic habits in order to restore our environment. The main issue according to me is our littering habits. It’s imperative that we stop using plastic bags and start recycling because that’s the initial step to making everything better. Time and time again our government has initiated ban against plastics, but we’ve broken the rules and this needs to end."

"Especially the concept of using dustbins is missing in our country, if seen carefully. Wherever we go, be it a heritage place or for that matter of fact a park, if not anything but a packet of chips would be found lying on the streets. Even though the government has placed dustbins around the country, hardly people are seen using it. But when it comes to comparing other countries like Dubai or UK, we would be the first person to make a comment on how beautiful and clean those places are. That’s because their residents strictly follow the rules and make sure they keep their home clean. So, on this World Environment Day, I wouldn’t be talking about the world but my own country. I would like all of us to bring a change in our day-to-day habits so we can also have a better and beautiful India in the years to come," he added.
