Tamil actress Sshakshi Chovan has a point to make and she has decided to go out of her way and make her point. When Sshakshi Chovan visited a pet grooming centre at Lokhandwala, she was shocked to find that about 20 liters of water were wasted to shampoo a poodle by its owner. Similarly, Sshakshi noticed that many car owners in Lokhandwala and Juhu use up at least 10 liters of water each day to wash their cars and vehicles. Visiting the Infinity Mall at Malad in suburban Mumbai, she noticed that some water taps in the wash rooms were damaged and the auto shut-off system was not working, resulting in a huge wastage of water as the taps remained partly in the 'on state'. Shocked by this blatant wastage of water, Sshakshi Chovan who hails from Satara in the interiors of Maharashtra decided to do something about this glaring fact.
So she teamed up with content and social media marketing agency Newz66 and shot a bold, provocative print shoot, the photos of which she plans to circulate and distribute through various social media. Says Sshakshi Chovan, “I have employed social media marketing experts to spread the message to save and conserve water. We waste a lot of water every day in cities like Mumbai. It’s not just citizens, but even the authorities who are to blame. There is a lot of wastage of precious water due to leakage of pipes and damage to valves.”
Sshakshi’s campaign will be propagated through Facebook, Twitter, Orkut and several other social media sites. Sshakshi plans to reach out to almost Ten crore viewers through this campaign. We bring you some advance images of the Sshakshi Chovan’s nude shoot.
