USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Last week, we had reported that Pakistan had deferred from screening the Sanjay Gupta film Shootout At Wadala. The latest update is that many theaters in places like Ludhiana, Moga, Jalandhar, Bathinda, Amritsar and Moga cancelled the film's screenings after a certain outfit named 'Bhartiya Valmiki Dharam Samaj' (BVDS) complained that certain dialogues in the film offended their community.

Talking about the issue, Laxman Dravid (National Director- BVDS) said that they have sent legal notices to Ekta Kapoor and Sanjay Gupta (the producer and the director of SAW). Dravid added that the film's makers should have thought twice before saying anything against Valmikiji. Echoing his sentiments, Deepak Hans (President- Dr. Ambedkar Ekta Mission) said that the two objectionable dialogues in the film are "Har chor valmiki nahi hota" and "Eklavya ne angutha dia tha, main poora haath de dunga". He assured that once these lines are censored, then they will have no objection in the film.
