Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…If you thought that Samrat And Co was a name of any random company, think again as its the name of Kavita Barjatya's debut film as a producer. For starters, Kavita is the sister of Sooraj Barjatya, the name that's behind the prestigious Rajshri Productions, under whose banner took birth many of Bollywood blockbusters like Maine Pyar Kiya, Hum Aapke Hain Kaun, Hum Saath Saath Hain etc.
Samrat And Co is basically a detective film that will be directed by Kaushik Ghatak, who said that with this film, he wanted to build a detective character in Bollywood, who would appeal the regular move watchers. Kavita, on her part, said that this film's going to be a challenge to cater to the typical Rajshri family audiences as well as youth of today.
The makers plan to cast new faces for Samrat And Co, which is expected to hit the floors before December this year.
