A R Rahman's latest track 'Khalifa' from Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is known not just for its upbeat music but also for featuring some rather interesting sequences that includes a foam party and underwater sequences.
Shot in some hot spots of Mumbai, the song has approximately 200 dancers along with lead actors doing a flash mob. Talking about creating these sequences, choreographer Ahmed Khan said, "Everybody does something like a pool party which is quite common and that's when Arif suggested we can choreograph something underwater. I was in for it and came up with these fun steps. The dancers were given timings and that's how we managed to synchronize all the steps. We practiced with Armaan & Deeksha by telling them to stay underwater for 1 minute, they both picked up and learned the steps very fast and I went underwater with a DSLR to capture the entire scene."
The under-water scene also features neon balls and neon paints with an LED wall with bright neon colours.
Produced by Illuminati Films, Lekar Hum Deewana Dil is directed by Arif Ali and the music is composed by A R Rahman.
