"Sanjay Leela Bhansali has gone into a space of negativity and darkness." These were the words filmmaker Karan Johar used to describe one time friend and fellow filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the first episode of journalist turned TV host Niranjan Iyengar's chat show.
In fact Karan Johar, who usually is the one firing the question was for a change answering them. Talking about his strained relationship with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Karan Johar said, "I have an indifferent relationship with Sanjay Bhansali. It used to be love and appreciation, but over a period of time, I think his expectation of me was not something that I was matching up to. Today I just think he's gone into a space of negativity and darkness. I am sorry, but I have no space… because I am all about light and sunshine. He is according to me, an immensely talented man. But I just don't want to deal with him anymore. It is as simple as that."
He further added that, "Sanjay was like he is losing it. I said that the first thing is to make the actors feel beautiful and loved. Even, Taj Mahal is also made of love."
It may be noted that Salman Khan has worked with Sanjay Leela Bhansali in films like Khamoshi – The Musical, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and Saawariya.
