USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…We have known that Emraan Hashmi has set out to test international waters with the Danis Tanovic's film. This Oscar winning director's film revolves around Emraan's character Ayan who works at an MNC but later discovers a conspiracy that may endanger his life. The film which was intitially titled White Lies has now been re-titled as Tigers and now we also hear that the film will premiere at the Toronto Film Festival.
Also, Emraan Hashmi who is known for his massive fan following has deviated from his usual films in order to reprise his character convincingly. Emraan also mentioned that he is very happy to do this concept driven film and also believes that it has a strong connect to the global audience. In fact, filmmaker Danis revealed that Tigers is a project that he has been working on since 2006 and despite many obstacles he continued to work on the film as he believed in the story. Prashita Chaudhary of Cinemorphic who will also be co-producing the film felt that the subject has a universal appeal and she is in awe of Danis who has created the film.
Apart from them, even Guneet Monga of Sikhya Entertainment will be co-producing Tigers. Emraan Hashmi had previously stated that his character is inspired from a real life Pakistani whistle blower and his fight against a corrupt system.
