USA: Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Don't wince. But that punch in the face and that blood squirting in the boxing scenes of Akshay Kumar's forthcoming film Brothers is all so real the faint-hearted may not be able to take it in their stride.
Says a source from the unit, "Director Karan Malhotra in any case believes in very authentic action. The violence in his first film Agneepath was dark and brutal. But Akshay wanted to take the action to the next level in Brothers. None of the boxing scenes in the film are faked. Akshay insisted on real punches. He wanted Brothers to be the first authentic boxing film of India."
Says the source, "In Brothers the action comes closer to the real thing than any other Hindi film."
