Hema Malini has turned grandmother as her second daughter Aahana gave birth to a baby boy on June 11. In fact, the family is so excited that the veteran actress and her elder daughter Esha took to Twitter to share the news with their fans.
Announcing the arrival of the new member in her family, Hema Malini tweeted, "Thk u all for ur good wishes. Yes Ahaana has delivered a baby boy & we are all so thrilled! Mother & baba are fine!" Esha Deol who turned maasi (aunt) too posted the news on the micro blogging site saying, "Thank you all for the wishes! Yes Ahaana gave birth to a baby boy yesterday 11th June at noon! Both mother and son are in bliss."
This year has been very special for the Deol family considering that Hema Malini is joining hands with the iconic director Ramesh Sippy for Shimla Mirchi while her daughter Esha has made a comeback in showbiz as the judge of the new season of 'Roadies'. On the other hand, Aahana, who has always stayed away from Bollywood and is a popular Odissi dancer-performer, tied the knot with businessman Vaibhav Vora on February 2, 2014.
