Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…After taking the TV world by storm with his impeccable hosting skills in the hit reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), the legendary Amitabh Bachchan is all set to sway his magic again on TV. No, we are not referring to the next season of KBC. This time round, Amitabh Bachchan will be featuring in a 52-episode animated series titled 'Astra Force'.
Reports state that the whole series will be revolving around a mythical superhero who gets stranded on earth after a magnanimous space battle. One has to really wait to see Amitabh Bachchan in the animated series as the same will be airing only in the year 2017. Speaking about the same, Sharad Devarajan (CEO, Co-founder of Graphic India) said that he had approached Amitabh Bachchan with five totally different visions and characters, of which, Bachchan picked 'Astra', which also reflects his majestic persona. He added that Amitabh Bachchan offered his creative inputs in the development of the character and also of the story as a whole. Meanwhile, Siddharth Roy Kapur (MD-Disney India) said besides Astra's unique storyline, what also makes the animated series special is to see Amitabh Bachchan in an animated avatar for the first time on TV.
Readers may recall that, while 'Astra Force' may see an animated Amitabh Bachchan for the first time on TV, a couple of years ago he was seen as an animated Bheeshma in the animated film Mahabharat.
