Well, there is good news now for all Sunny fans as the film is being revived. Dates of all principle cast members have been locked and the shooting resumes next month with Sunny and Arshad facing the camera.
Confirms our source, "Yes, all nitty-gritty associated with the film have been resolved now. There are no more issues. The film is as fresh as it was four years back and the plot remains unchanged. Sunny and Arshad are really excited to get going on the film. Come July and the film would be back on floors."
For a change, Sunny Deol is not playing a Punjabi in the film. Instead, he would be seen as a Varanasi based Don who dreams of seeing himself on the big screen. To facilitate this mad affair, he seeks the services of Arshad (who is playing a director in the film). While Preity is already on board, names of one more male and female lead would be announced soon too.
When contacted, Arshad confirmed that all is well with Bhaiyyaji Superhitt and he would be shooting the film with Sunny in July.
"That's correct," confirms an insider, "As you can see, promotion of I Love NY has resumed too. It was stuck in the cans for long but with Kangna Ranaut's soaring popularity; there is renewed interest in the film. It releases on July 10. Then there is another film of his which was pending for long, Mohalla Assi, which is also aiming for September-October arrival. Though its leaked promo has met with terrible reactions, expect the controversy to help the film in gaining awareness at the least."
While each of these has been a long delayed projects for Sunny, the one which is expected to thrill the actor's fans most is Ghayal Once Again. Aiming for Diwali release (on November 13), the film is directed by Sunny himself and is making brisk progress. Rest assured, for those waiting for Sunny paaji's arrival on screen for long, there are as many as three films lined up in next six months (I Love NY, Mohalla Assi, Ghayal Once Again) with fourth (Bhaiyyaji Superhitt) arriving next year.
