Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…Kajol, who will next be seen in Dilwale, may be currently busy with her film commitments but the actress has taken time out to attend the United Nations General Assembly that will be held next week. Kajol, who specifically joined Twitter to promote the causes that she believes in, decided to announce about it on the micro blogging site.
Kajol shared a post on Monday, that is, September 21, saying, "Excited to announce I'll be at @UN General Assembly & #GlobalCitizen Festival next week supporting the #hygiene cause in the #GlobalGoals !!" Global Citizen Festival focuses on the development and awareness of many social causes across the world and is one of the most important aspects of this annual assembly. The UN General Assembly, on the other hand, will have leaders participating from different countries including many renowned names like Leonardo DiCaprio, Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousafzai, Bill and Melinda Gates among others. We also hear that Kajol will be attending a music fest on September 26 which will have performances by Beyonce, Pearl Jam and Coldplay.
Apart from Kajol, yet another celebrity from India who will be a part of this is singer-performer Sunidhi Chauhan.
