USA: Free $30 Oye! Times readers Get FREE $30 to spend on Amazon, Walmart…While on one hand, the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra was on cloud nine after receiving the prestigious 'People's Choice Award', on the other, not all was well with her production company. Purple Pebble Pictures has found itself in a tight spot with the members of the Film Studios Setting and Allied Mazdoor Union alleging non-payment of dues for services rendered during an ad shoot.

Gangeshwar Shriwastav (General Secretary- Union) said that they had sent two reminders to the production house last month, in which it had been clearly pointed that the members had worked from end of April to the first week of May. He also claimed that only a part of the dues have been cleared so far.

The workers' woes (mostly daily wage earners) stated that their outstanding payment was pending and despite two reminders, they have not heard from PPP. A source close to the production house however claimed that as per the 'all-inclusive contract' with the art director, they were never accountable to do any payment/s to the workers individually and that the amount (inclusive of the workers' remuneration) was handed over to the art director.
