The megastar was more than happy and turned a tad bit nostalgic on the occasion of his son Abhishek Bachchan and daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai's wedding anniversary.
Amitabh wrote on his blog and showered blessings on the couple saying, "As tomorrow dawns, the wedding bells ring of 9 years of togetherness, for Aishwarya and Abhishek .. a day filled with the joy and happiness that not just conforms to the two that bind themselves in matrimony but for us elders too .. a coming together of families, of affection and oneness! This bond remains with us throughout .. it then flourishes into the next generation that comes along and the next and the next and the next … Life is perpetual .. it is on going and infinite .. as must life be .."
Abhishek Bachchan tied the knot with former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in a lavish ceremony on April 20, 2007. The two have a daughter named Aaradhya. The duo has worked together in films like Dhai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Na Kaho, Umrao Jaan, Guru, Raavan, Dhoom 2, Sarkar Raj, Bunty Aur Babli (Ash in a cameo) among others.
