In 2002, Shah Rukh Khan followed the footsteps of his idol Dilip Kumar and played the iconic role of Devdas in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's directorial venture. Devdas was one of the biggest films of both Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali's career.
Today is the 14th anniversary of Devdas and Shah Rukh Khan got nostalgic about it. The superstar showed his gratitude towards Sanjay Leela Bhansali on his Twitter handle. He wrote, "Devdas will always b special.Thank u Bhansali… the beautiful ladies & every1.Late nites..long shoots &so much love."
To make the celebrations more memorable, a video of Shah Rukh Khan from last year started trending. This was Shah Rukh Khan's debut on dubsmash and fans thought it was the right time to get it trending again.
Shah Rukh Khan's Devdas had won all the awards that year including Best Actor, Best Director and Best Film. Not just that, the film swept away National awards as well and was also screened at several prestigious film festivals.
