Toronto based actor Alberto Tihan hits the red carpet at the ReelWorld Film Festival

Toronto based actor Alberto Tihan will make his big-screen debut at the 2012 ReelWorld Film Festival on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 5:30 p.m.. Starring as the dark and manipulative street pimp named Kemo in Searching for Angels, he expands his acting horizons alongside Vivica A. Fox and Veronika London. The film will be screening at Cineplex Canada Square at 2190 Yonge St. in Cineplex Square 4.
 
Following the story of an abused and drug addled prostitute, Searching for Angels is the story of a young woman found by paramedics in a pool of blood. She struggles to cope with amnesia and a drug addiction while trying rediscover who she is and who did this to her.
 
Born in Bucharest, Romania, Alberto Tihan moved to Canada to live with his father in the early 2000s. Immediately following high school graduation he moved to Toronto where he completed his education in the Acting for Film and Television program at Humber College in 2008.
 
He can be seen in Doctor Director, an extremely well received short film directed by Adnan F. Siddiqui featured at the 2010 Muslim Festival.
 
Alberto Tihan is not a stranger to television as he has starred in docu-dramas including Operation Thunderball and Dual Suspects.
 
Alberto Tihan was in the award winning short film, R.O.G.,featured at the 2010 Montreal World Film Festival and 2010 CineSiege Bell LightBox.
 
Although acting is a high priority to Alberto Tihan, he remains close to his friends and family while holding onto that determination to get a few Oscar’s under his belt.

  3. From the first moment I was introduced to the trailer of “Jean Doe” I wanted to see more of it. The movie really captures the essence of some of today’s issues. I think the performance was incredible and Alberto you made us proud. Keep up the good work and one day you will have not one but 2. 3 Oscars 🙂
