The Toronto Police have made an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.

It is alleged that:

– A man posed as a talent scout in 2001
– A then-13-year-old boy was offered a performance role in exchange for gifts and money
– The 13-year-old boy was sexually assaulted on one occasion in Scarborough

James Alcock, 59, of Toronto, has been arrested and has been charged with:

1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Interference with Person Under 14 Years of Age

He appeared in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Thursday, October 24, 2019, in courtroom 412, at 9 a.m.
