The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a sexual assault investigation.
It is reported that:
– On Friday, November 1, 2019, during the early hours of the morning, the victim was at Rebel nightclub on Polson Street
– At some point, the victim regained consciousness inside a vehicle
– A man drove her to an unknown location and sexually assaulted her
Dipesh Patel, 34, of Toronto, has been charged with:
– Sexual Assault
– Extortion
– Forcible Confinement
He will appear on Monday, November 4, 2019, at 2201 Finch Avenue West, in courtroom 204, at 10 a.m.
