Ayub Kandid wanted by Toronto police
The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance locating a man wanted in a firearm investigation.
On Saturday, March 4, 2023, at 8 p.m., police responded to a person with a gun call in the Victoria Park Avenue and St. Clair Avenue East area.
It is alleged that:
- the victim and suspect got into an altercation
- the suspect pulled a firearm out of a bag and pointed it at the victim
- the suspect then made a threat toward the victim
- the suspect then fled the scene prior to police arrival
Ayub Kandid, 24, of Toronto, is wanted for:
- Point Firearm
- Carry Concealed Weapon
- Assault
- Uttering Threats
He is described as 5’11”, 200 lbs., medium build, short black hair and brown eyes. He is known to operate a blue Volkswagen Passat bearing an Ontario licence plate CXLE081.
