Juan Carlos Montes Martinez wanted for sexual assault in Toronto
The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a sexual assault investigation.
On Saturday, February 11, 2023, at approximately 4:15 a.m., a woman was sexually assaulted in the Bathurst Street and Wells Street area.
It has been reported that:
- a 29-year-old woman was travelling northbound on TTC bus route 307 from Bathurst Street and King Street West
- the suspect was on the same TTC bus
- the suspect exited at the same stop as the woman
- the suspect followed the woman on foot and sexually assaulted her
- the suspect left the area while in possession of the woman’s cellular telephone, causing the woman to follow him
- the suspect sexually assaulted the woman again
- the woman was able to flee from the suspect
Images have been released.
The suspect is described as approximately 5’10”, thick dark eyebrows, and bald. He was wearing a grey toque, grey jacket, long pants, and a blue surgical mask.
The suspect has been identified as Juan Carlos Montes Martinez, 39, of Toronto. He is wanted for:
- Sexual Assault
- Extortion
He is described as approximately 5’10” in height, thick dark eyebrows, and shaved head.
