The Toronto Police Service would like to update the public on arrests made in a Homicide investigation.
On Friday, April 21, 2023 at approximately 10 p.m., police responded to a call for sounds of gunshots in the Islington Avenue and Steeles Avenue West area.
On Thursday, May 4, 2023, Steven Nona, 23, of Toronto was arrested. He has been charged with:
- First Degree Murder
He was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on May 5, 2022, at 10 a.m. in courtroom 204.
On Saturday, May 6, 2023, Juan Pablo Segovia Sanhueza, 21, of Toronto was arrested. He has been charged with:
- First Degree Murder
He was scheduled to appear at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at 10 a.m. in courtroom 205.
