Auto manufacturers seem to be ready for a comeback in 2011; at the auto show this year optimism seems rampant, and the manufacturers brought out new models to dazzle the crowds.

Amongst those many models, there are a number of vehicles making their Canadian Premieres at the show. In no particular order they are:
2012 Audi TT RS – the newly developed five-cylinder engine combines with a turbocharger to make the Quattro all-wheel-drive TT RS an exciting new offering from Audi

2012 BMW 6 Series Cabriolet – the redesigned 6 Series from BMW with it’s top down

2011 BMW 1 Series M Coupe – although the 1 Series wasn’t much to consider, the M version of it may be one of the most exciting cars this year

2012 Buick Verano – a compact luxury sedan representing Buick’s third new model in the past two years and the first in the compact luxury segment

2012 Hyundai Veloster – a 3-door (3 & ½ if you count the half door on the passenger side) sporty coupe that looks unique, and is quite utilitarian

2012 Range Rover Evoque 5-Door – the 5-door Evoque joins the coupe model which was unveiled at the Montreal Auto Show in January

2012 Infiniti M35h – a 360hp monster of a hybrid from Infiniti, the M35h is sure to find a home with anyone looking for a luxury sedan that is both powerful and earth hugging

2012 Lexus LFA – possibly your only chance to see an LFA in person, as these won’t make their way to a showroom near you

2012 Toyota Prius v – the ideal vehicle that the style conscious won’t buy. This wagon-ized version of the Prius is both highly functional and not all that great to look at

2012 Volkswagen Passat – although larger than the outgoing Passat, this built-in-USA model is up against some very stiff competition in the mid-size segment

And what good is an auto show, if there aren’t concept vehicles that make us dream; so here’s what to look out for on the show floor this year:
GMC Granite
Kia Ray
Nissan Ellure
Subaru Hybrid Tourer
Hyundai Blue Will
Mini Paceman
Civic Si Coupe
