Miss India UK London – Extravaganza of beauty, grace, glamour and fashion as never been seen before saw the crowning of 5 regional winners in one spectacular night!

Friday 28th September 2012 saw a glamorous evening with Miss India UK London (North, East, South, West London & Essex/Kent) hosted at the prestigious, The City Pavilion in East London.

The evening sponsored by O2 International Sim was presented by Eastern Illusion and Shiv Star where 5 regional winners were crowned. Winners: North London – Nimisha Mehta, East London – Henika Patel, South London – Nagis Javany, West London – Anu Sihota, Essex&Kent – Puja Goyal.

The evening was just not another beauty contest but an evening of glamour and grace, with a range of performances on stage by Avina Shah who opened the evening with a beautiful rendition of the Indian National Anthem later followed by her single, Dil Deewana, Abbas Hasan and Navin Kundra in a show-stopping finale with all the girls taking the catwalk to Navin’s new release ‘Shudaayi’.

Judges included current Miss India UK 2012 winner and as seen on Big Brother, Deana Uppal, Lubna Rafiq CEO & Official Hair & Makeup sponsor, Shashi Gossain CEO & Founder of Pharmaclinix Ltd, Asad Shan British Model, TV Presenter and Film Maker and Omar Khan TV Presenter and Actor featured in Bollywood films – who all judged the contestants on the catwalk ramp, talent and Q&A rounds.

Guests saw an amazing catwalk choreographed by Eastern Illusion, Sheerali Davda with the regional contestant’s modeling breath-taking designs by Yuvna Kim London, Imani, Seema Sarees and Fusion. The stunning contestants were styled with vibrant Makeup by UK’s leading award winning make-up artist Lubna Rafiq and dazzling jewelry by Bellezza.

London Director’s Rupesh Patel (Eastern Illusion) and Shiv Sanghani (Shiv Star) and their team of highly effective and passionate individuals all came together through a shared vision to offer diversity, multiculturalism, years of event management experience and multi-disciplinary skills to help make Miss India UK London (North, East, South, West London & Essex/Kent) a huge success and setting standards to enhance the brand.
