Hindus have strongly condemned the vandalizing of Ten Commandments monument on the Oklahoma State Capitol grounds in Oklahoma City, reportedly erected in 2012.
Distinguished Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, in a statement in Nevada today, said that they were appalled to learn about the vandalizing of Ten Commandments monument.
The desecration of a monument, with principles relating to ethics and worship inscribed on it, was offensive and disrespectful to people of faith. Everybody should condemn such a repugnant act, Zed, who is President of Universal Society of Hinduism, stated.
Concepts or symbols of any faith, larger or smaller, should not be mishandled, Rajan Zed noted.
