Get ready to get desiFIED and celebrate five years: desiFEST is set to celebrate in grand style. Blueband Musiq with its parent company Namaste Marketing Group is proud to bring to you the largest South Asian Music concert desiFEST on Saturday May 28, 2011 at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto.
 
Come kick-off the summer with thousands celebrating South Asian artists and arts. desiFEST has provided artists a platform to showcase their talent for five years now. It has hosted over 150 artists, recording artists such as; Apache Indian, JoSH, The Bilz & Kashif, Roach Killa, Parichay, Raghav and many more. desiFEST features contemporary indo-jazz fusion, global beats and cutting edge performances boasting 12 hours of foot-tapping music. Included in the celebrations are South Asian delicacies in the food market, artisans in the merchant market and a kids zone entertaining kids with a popular bouncy castle.
 
Toronto is seen as the New York City of Canada, the hub of the music and entertainment industry. desiFEST celebrates 5 years in 2011 alongside the 40th Anniversary of the Juno Awards and the 1st debut of the International Indian Film Awards. This year’s line-up is sure to be a tribute to its five years of inception, with a mix of new artists and a tribute to veterans that have been making moves locally and internationally in the music industry.
