During the shooting of her latest film The Memory Game, an intimacy coordinator made sure that agreements were made about the intimate scenes prior to the shooting and that they were guided in the right direction. In an interview with Veronica Superguide, Drijver stated that it was her first time working with an intimacy coordinator.
Drijver believes that every movement should be thought out in advance as it guides actors about what is expected of them. She compared this to fight scenes that are also choreographed in advance. She added that when a director says to his actors, “And now you are angry, do something!”, it usually results in a silly fight.

The presence of an intimacy coordinator is a logical development, according to Drijver. She stated that the coordinators help actors better express their limits and enable them to better communicate with their colleagues and the director.
