Chinese Cabbage Salad


1 med. Chinese cabbage, shredded

8 green onions, chopped

8 tbsp. slivered almonds

8 tbsp. sesame seeds

2 pkgs. Ramen noodles


4 tbsp. sugar

6 tbsp. rice vinegar

1/2 c. salad oil

1 tsp. salt (optional)

1 tsp. white pepper


Lightly brown almonds and sesame seeds in a little oil.

Combine cabbage and onions. Add almond and sesame seed mixture.

Add dressing; crumble Ramen noodles (throw away seasoning packets, don’t cook). Add noodles about an hour before serving, chill well.
