Here is the recipe of Mutton Raan Roast for mutton meat lovers. It is not tough to make, only need a time to marinade, rest of the process is easy. Try to have it on lunch time because it is bit richer in calories.

The same recipe of Mutton raan can be baked in oven. All the steps are same, just after marinate preheat the oven at 350 degrees and bake it for 1 hour. Don’t forget to put 3 cups of water in baking pan. Grease it with oil time to time.

In this recipe we are going to deep fry the Mutton Raan roast.

Ingredients for Mutton Raan:

– Mutton raan ½ kilo (around about)

– Papaya paste 2tb-sp

– Ginger paste 2tbsp

– Ginger paste 2tbsp

– Onion paste 2 tbsp

– Lemon Juice 5 to 6 tbsp (2 large lemons)

– Mace (javitri) ½ tea-sp

– Dried mix masala 1 Tbsp

– Red chili powder 2Tb-sp

– Salt 1Tbsp

Method to make Mutton Raan Roast:

– Take the Mutton raan and prick it with fork or knife, so that all it can marinate well.

– Now make a paste of all ingredients and apply on Mutton raan, apply all the mixture masala with your hands inside the pricked meat.

– Leave it aside for marinate for at least 8 to 10 hours. It would be better if you marinate it for overnight or one day.

– In cooking pan place the Mutton raan and put 3 to 4 cups of water. Let it cook on very low flame for 2 hours. It might take one hour, depends on meat quality.

– Make sure that all the water gets dried in the cooking pan

– When it gets cooked, take it out. Let the Mutton raan cool on room temperature.

– Sprinkle dry flour on cooked Mutton raan and cover it with dry flour from both sides. Clean the excess flour from it

– Preheat the oil filled deep frying pan and fry the Mutton raan from both sides until gets brown.

– Garnish it with onion, lemons and tomato.

Mutton Raan Roast is now ready; serve it with rice and salad. Have a spicy Mutton raan roast meal.
