This is the fourth batch of returnees coming home from Israel following an agreement between South Sudan and Israeli governments to facilitate the repatriation of South Sudanese.
The Undersecretary in the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management Clement Dominic welcomed the returnees at Juba International Airport.
“We are expecting another flight to arrive on the 18th and 23rd of this month”, he said.
He commended the Israeli government for supporting the voluntary return of South Sudanese who have voluntarily registered to return home and participate in nation building.
About 500 South Sudanese have returned from Israel since the voluntary repatriation started last month.
