Eighteen suspects were arrested by the South Sudan Police Services (SSPS) in early September for selling Shisha and opium.
Those found guilty of selling shisha were convicted to a term not exceeding 3 month while others were sentenced to between 4 and 5 months in prison.
The President of Rumbek Town court Dhelbeny Makuer Gol, said the South Sudan Penal Code Act 2008 in article 384 had been applied against the convicted.
According South Sudan Penal Code Act 2008 article 384 and article 65 it is unlawful to be found in possession of the dangerous drugs.
