“By this letter, I would like to inform you that I have constituted a committee of 5 person to investigate some cash of 1,300,000 South Sudanese Pounds (SSP) released to the Ministry sometime back for the construction of the main office building for the Ministry of Information and Telecommunication,” the minister said.

The Committee composes of Oliver Duku Wani as Chairperson with  Galdino Ochama Ojok as Secretary. The other members are Angelo Benjamin, Charles Churukali and a representative from the state Secretariat.

The committee is tasked to find out who signed for the release of the funds and what happened with the said amount released and establish the piece of work was done with the money.

The committee is also expected to establish the person who paid the contractor and the contract agreement.

The committee shall work for two weeks and render a report to the minister.
