The minister said that the request for the power was approved and passed by the Council of Ministers and that the centralized power system was done in order to use one generator instead of two at the ministry.

He said the generator has 270KVA and will work for 18 hours a day as they can afford to provide fuel during this austerity measures period, adding that they connected the mass underground from Yambio FM via Yambio Boy’s Primary School with the permission from the school management to the ministry.

The Director of Information Mr. Takido William Luciano stressed that they appreciated the effort done by the minister to bring power to the ministry which will enable them to work well using the computers and other information equipments they have adding that as information ministry it needs constant power for better service delivery.
