Rowe however said that the cultivation can reach 50,000 feddans or more depending with commitment from the people.

Speaking during the handing over event, state agriculture minister, Majok Bol thanked WFP and all other partners for supporting food production activities in the state.
“We are glad that we are receiving 500 ox-ploughs and other agricultural tools and these equipments will transform the lives and standard of people of Warrap State,” he said
The minister noted that although WFP does not provide tools in the Food for Asset programme, his ministry made that request because they believe that it is better to provide equipments instead of food.
“As clearly stated, WFP is not mandated to give equipments but with our clear direction, we said it is better to give someone equipments to stand on his/her own than giving food that will not last for long,” he added.
Bol acknowledged how Food for Assets became a success in 2012 among the state population. He urged the citizens to get good used of the programme since it has doubled itself.
Food for Assets is a programme under WFP in which carry out development activities in communities in exchange of food ratio. In Warrap, the programme enable locals developed their areas for instance community roads and bridges in Twic County.
