Zain network communication officially launched its operation activities in all the county areas to boost the communication in the local communities.

Uror County Commissioner Simon Hoth Dol expressed happiness and thanks to the State Ministry of Information and Telecommunication for its effort in completing the transportation and erection of the tower.

Hoth said that the process of erection of the telecommunication tower took two years due to logistical and poor road network in the area.

While Uror County citizens living in Bor said that the launching of the telecommunication network will ease communication with their families back home and enable them send money home easily through Zain money transfer.

The commissioner said the network will be officially opened by the national minister of Information Barambah Marial Benjamin and state minister of information, Hussein Maar Nyuot.

In Jonglei state both Uror and Pochalla Counties were the only counties that have been left out of 11 counties that had no telecommunication network in the state.

In February this year the state minister of telecommunication and communication and at the same the deputy governor of Jonglei state, Hussein Maar Nyuot said that they have consulted the national department of telecommunication and postal services to setup some network operators in Lou Nuer counties.

Maar said that there were complaints from Uror county and particular greater Lou Nuer that there were no network operators in the area.
