Government to begin discussion on Lokpal Bills

New Delhi: The government is going to begin the discussion on all Lokpal Bills in the parliament from tomorrow onwards. Anna has agreed to end his fast after Prime Minister Manmohan Singh made an offer to the civil society that the Jan Lokpal Bill shall be discussed in the Parliament.

Hazare alleged that he has sent this message through Union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh when he came to meet him at the fast site and appealed to him to end his hunger strike.

Anna has made three demands to the Prime Minister regarding citizen’s charter, lokayuktas in all states with Lokpal powers and inclusion of lowest to highest bureaucracy.

“Now he (PM) is saying that we are worried but for ten days he was not worried at all. It went on like this," said Hazare. Further, he indeed articulated that the government had betrayed him twice in the past and now he would not like to be betrayed for the third time.
