Anna Hazare’s condition stable but looks weak

New Delhi: Anna Hazare is now in good spirits nevertheless appears to be little weak after fasting for 12 days. Naresh Trehan, the chairman and managing-director of Medanta Medicity hospital, Gurgaon who has given the live updates about Hazare’s health during his fast at Ramlila Ground till Sunday morning, said that he is recovering well.

Trehan and other doctors are constantly monitoring him and hope to release him from the hospital later this week. Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has also sent him a bouquet and a "get well soon" card.

At present, he has been admitted in ‘in-patient department (IPD)’, and due to weakness the Gandhian is using his hand gestures to communicate.

However, heavy security has been installed both in and around the hospital entry spots in order to prevent any interference, either by media or the supporters.
