One of the finest plans of constructions in India is about to be launched as J Jayalalithaa, Tamilnadu Chief Minister, announced today in the Assembly that a new and beautiful Satellite Township would be built at Thirumazhisai at a cost of Rs 2,160 cr.
Jayalalithaa said that 12.87 acres of area would be needed from the owners after due consultations for increasing double link roads which would facilitate the Thirumazhisai Satellite Township which would also have all essential facilities like rain water harvesting, drinking water, community hall, drainage, street lights, schools, bus stand, park, hospital and playground.
The construction of this particular town will be carried out as soon as possible as there are a lot of challenges to face, as commented by the Minister. Further by making a statement under Rule 110 in the State Assembly, she said that the new housing development schemes, centers at giving maximum benefits to all sections of the people from different walks of life. These have been thought up in the idea of the fast growth of the Chennai city as well as the highly expensive real estate prices.
Other than the new housing schemes, the Tamilnadu Housing Board will also build the Satellite Township on a total area of 311.05 acre land at Thirumazhisai on the Chennai-Bangalore National highway putting together Chembarambakkam, Kuthambakkam, Parvatharajapuram, Narasingapuram and Vellavedu villages, as the sources told.
Further she said that there would be12, 000 apartments which would be built in that township and later would be sold to inexpensively weaker sections as well as middle income group people at quite reasonable prices.
