Malaysia-PMMalaysian Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has admitted that despite of being extremely brilliant, the Malaysian professionals are underpaid as compared to their counterparts, working in foreign countries. PM has suggested the government to focus more on improving the well being of the society for brining in the prosperity in Malaysia.

The PM is of the view that state of affairs has not performed well to retain as well as attract talented professionals to get employed in here. Najib is continually instructing the public as well as private sector organizations to pay the local professionals well enough that they will not get attract to the foreign jobs. The PM has addressed at the 11th Forbes Global CEO conference in Malaysia on Tuesday to move up the wage rate steadily but with the consequently improvement in production as well.

Najib has told that there is an immense need of focused efforts to retain the bright Malaysian professionals and restrict brain drain. Also, a pull factor is essentially required to attract back the Malaysian diaspora with a better compensation plan. PM believes that by creating better opportunities to pay people well will also help in attracting the outer skillful professionals to work and reside in Malaysia. He is of the view that rising cost of living does not mean to burden the poor public. Instead it is meant to be covered by the government as it is the responsibility of the government to keep the market prices under control.
